Becoming Photography

The exhibitions at EXPRESSON and Plein sud, centre d’exposition en art actuel à Longueuil were based on the publication titled Chuck Samuels: Becoming Photography that was co-published by EXPRESSION, Plein sud, and Kerber Verlag (Berlin) and designed by Dominique Mousseau.

The book features images from all six projects presented in the exhibitions as well as essays by Joan Fontcuberta and Mona Hakim.

The publication are also available in both French and English versions at EXPRESSION, Plein sud, and better bookstores worldwide. The artist is grateful to the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for its support of the
publication.
